Make plans now to join us for the 13th annual NC Youth Ministry Winter Ski Retreat. Hundreds of youth from across the state will converge in Beckley, West Virginia, for their annual Winter Retreat; a weekend packed with fun, fellowship and worship.
What's Happening
- Saturday: All-day skiing and other winter activities.
- Saturday evening and Sunday morning: Worship with guest speaker Acton Bowen and the band Cover the Earth made up of three former BeDoTell camp staffers who share their witness for God through music at youth events all across the southeastern United States.

Acton Bowen Outreach
Acton Bowen’s passion has been to connect people with the one, true God. For 12 years Acton served in the local church, led a city-wide student Bible study in Gadsden, AL, and was also the host of x|roads TV, a worldwide broadcast viewed weekly by millions of teens and adults on network television. Acton is now co-host of Top3 on the JuceTV Network and a regular contributor on Fox News in NYC where he serves as a correspondent on Faith and Religion. In his travels, he speaks up to 20 times a month at churches, disciple-now weekends, city-wide crusades, camps, conferences and school assemblies and leadership seminars- giving him a live platform before over 350,000 people every year. Acton uses these opportunities and his unique blend of boldness and humor to communicate leadership skills and the life-giving message of the gospel to students and adults alike. Acton lives in Alabama where he and his team daily lean into the vision of ABO.
The Band
Cover the Earth
Ashley Seagle, Kat Robertson and Jeremy Robertson are three versatile vocalists, multi-instrumentalists and songwriters. The three met while serving with BeDoTell. The trio has been playing events together since September of 2015.

The Deal
The ski retreat package includes the following:
- Two nights hotel lodging with daily continental breakfast
- Saturday ski rental and lift ticket (8 a.m.-10 p.m.)
*One complimentary lift ticket and rental for every 15 purchased - Group ski lessons
- Saturday lunch and dinner
- Saturday night and Sunday morning worship with guest speaker and the BeDoTell Team
The Cost
Cost is $182 for 2017. Deductions are made for non-skiers and those bringing their own equipment. Upgrades are available for snowboards, lessons, bibs, helmets and individual lessons at resort cost.
