It’s that time of year. Students are returning to school and your youth group is getting ready for the upcoming events. For many, a winter ski retreat is on the horizon. Now is the best time to start planning for the winter, since the best lodging options sell out first. The first thing to do is pick a date. If you’re close enough ( less than 4 hours ) to a ski resort, any non holiday weekend will always work best ( in Friday, Ski Sat, Depart Sun ) This will allow more affordable options as well as being far less crowded.

If you need to drive more than 6 hours, then a holiday weekend seems more appropriate ( in Friday, Ski Sat & Sun, depart Monday ) MLK ( JAN 17-20) and PRESIDENTS ( FEB 14-17 ) are popular weekends as well as Christmas break dates. What a great holiday weekend!   We saw most all of our groups and can't say anything but one Awesome Weekend!  

50 + groups went to Snowshoe, Wintergreen, Massanutten, Winterplace, Beech Mountain, Cataloochee, Wolf Ridge, Perfect North and Sugar Mountain.     We go to meet most leaders and even found time to make a few runs.      Can't say enough about our amazing staff here at Nexstep.   Long Hours but well worth the trip.    We love our clients!!!  #happyleader  #happycompany
